About the catalogue
Why a catalogue and not a gallery
Most coloring sites are built to make you click. A thumbnail leads to a page, that page leads to a download page, and the download page leads to an advert. The drawing you wanted was three clicks back.
This one is arranged like a big box of paper. A subject is a drawer, the drawer holds the sheets, and each sheet prints from where it sits. That is the whole structure. It means a category page here is long, which suits the way the drawings are actually used: nobody prints one page at a time.
Every drawing is composed for A4 at 300 dpi. The margin is generous enough that US Letter loses nothing, so the same file works on both sides of the Atlantic without a second version. Line weight is set per audience, thick and closed for the youngest and finer for the detailed sheets, because a 1 mm gap is invisible to an adult and impossible for a three-year-old.
New drawings go up every day, and a new subject gets its own drawer whenever it is worth one. If something is missing, tell us and it usually gets drawn.
Questions people actually ask
Are the coloring pages really free?
Yes. Every sheet on the site downloads as a PDF with no account, no email address and no watermark. Print one page or four hundred.
What paper size do they print on?
Each drawing is laid out for A4 at 300 dpi and prints just as cleanly on US Letter, because the artwork is centred with a margin that absorbs the difference. Legal and A5 work too if you set your printer to fit the page.
Can I use these in a classroom or a library?
Yes, and you do not need to ask. Printing for a class, a daycare, a library session, a waiting room or a hospital ward is exactly what these are for. What you cannot do is resell the files or pass them off as your own set.
How often do you add new coloring pages?
Every day. New drawings go up daily, and whole new subjects arrive every week or two. Seasonal categories are restocked well before their date, so Halloween fills up through September and Christmas through October.
Why is there no separate page for each drawing?
Because it would waste your time. Every sheet sits in the category it belongs to, printable straight from the grid. You get to the drawing you want in one click rather than three.
