Labubu Coloring Pages

One character, thirty-six situations. That is the whole set, and it is the reason it colours quickly: the figure is the same each time, large and simple, so a child learns the face on the first sheet and spends the rest of the time on what is around it.

What is on the thirty-six sheets

The set falls into groups rather than thirty-six separate ideas, and it is fairer to say so:

• In the kitchen, four sheets: whisking batter, stirring a bowl beside a rolling pin, stirring a big pot on the hob, and holding a spoon over a frying pan with city rooftops behind.
• At the easel, four: a self-portrait, a landscape under a hanging lamp, a tree painted outdoors next to the real one, and a grinning face painted under the stars.
• With an instrument, four: an acoustic guitar in the park, a guitar on a striped floor with the eyes closed, an electric guitar on stage in front of two small rabbits, and a ukulele beside a drum.
• In space, four: floating weightless, standing beside a rocket, bounding across the moon past a landing module, and at the controls of a spaceship with Saturn through the window.
• In the garden, three: a trowel and a seedling, a watering can and a trowel, and watering under a smiling sun.
• Outdoors and elsewhere: fishing at a pond, hiking a mountain path, a sandcastle on the beach, diving past coral, a rock beside a lighthouse, a paddling pool, a swing, two bicycles, a football kit, a doctor's coat, a pirate hat, and two sheets of reading among books.

Fur, eyes, teeth

The character is fur from head to toe with two tall ears, two very large round eyes and a wide row of pointed teeth. That grin is the whole point of the design and the one thing worth keeping clean: it is a long line of small triangles, and a child who fills it carefully has done the hardest part of the page.

The rest is free. Nothing in the drawing fixes a colour, so the fur can be brown, pink, mint or anything else, which is exactly how the figures are sold.

Easy sheets and busy ones

The plain backgrounds are quickest: the doctor's coat, the guitar on the striped floor, the swing, the toy train. One figure, very little behind it, ten minutes.

The busy ones are the kitchens, the coral reef, the park with the pond and the spaceship cockpit: worktops, utensils, planets and instruments, enough to fill an afternoon.
