KPop Demon Hunters is an animated musical from Sony Pictures Animation, directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. It came out on Netflix on June 20, 2025, and became one of the most watched films in the platform's history. Its songs, "Golden" first among them, spread far beyond the film.

The story follows Huntrix, a K-pop girl group whose members secretly hunt demons. Their voices keep up the Honmoon, a magic barrier that holds the demon world back. When a rival boy band of demons, the Saja Boys, starts stealing their fans, the three friends have to save their audience and each other.

The film is full of Korean details, from food and street markets to folk art, and many of the sheets pick up on them.

Coloring Rumi's braid

Rumi's long braid is the detail fans check first. In the film it is a vivid purple.

1. Color each twist of the braid in a light purple.
2. Darken the end of each twist where it tucks under the next.
3. Leave a thin streak of bare paper along the top curve of every twist.

Repeated down the braid, those streaks read as a weave. Stay in one color family: a base and one darker shade look like hair, two unrelated colors look like rope. Zoey's hair is black, so leave a few white highlights on her bob or it turns into a flat shape.

Derpy and Sussie coloring pages, the tiger and the magpie

Derpy is a big blue tiger with a goofy grin, and Sussie is a magpie in a little hat who rides on his head. They come from jakhodo, a Korean folk painting that pairs a tiger with a magpie in a pine tree as a sign of good luck and protection.
