A single gown holds five colours
The dresses are cut so that a skirt, an underskirt, a bodice, a sash and a trim are all separate areas. Fill them with one colour and the page looks unfinished; fill them with five and it looks deliberate. That is the design intent, and it is why these sheets take longer than they look.
The patterned gowns go further: the dragons, the swans and the stars are each their own shape, so a single dress can carry a dozen decisions without the drawing ever becoming busy.
Which princess coloring page suits which hand
The plain gowns with a starry background are the quick ones: one figure, thick outlines, a dozen areas, finished in fifteen minutes. The Victorian clock page and the space princess are the long ones, with forty to sixty separate shapes, and they suit an adult as much as a child.
Hair is the underrated part. Every braid and curl is outlined section by section, so it takes two tones and a highlight without any blending skill.

Almost all of them are original characters drawn for this site, not copies of film artwork. Every princess here is drawn for this site, and none of them is a character from a film. The site is not affiliated with or endorsed by any studio.
How many colours does a gown need?
Five is the design intent: skirt, underskirt, bodice, sash and trim are separate areas. One colour makes the page look unfinished, and the patterned gowns will happily take a dozen.
Which sheet suits a young child?

Are there princesses who are not in dresses at all?
