Sprunki Coloring Pages

Every Sprunki is a round head on a simple body, and every one of them makes a sound. These Sprunki coloring pages draw that cast of big-eyed characters doing what they do on stage, and then everything else: skateboarding, gardening, camping and floating through space.

The music comes first. A Sprunki with tall spiky hair sings into a microphone, a whole row lines up on stage under the curtains, a long-haired Sprunki in headphones sits on a speaker, a Sprunki with braids plays a tambourine with sound waves spreading out, Wenda dances hand in hand with a friend on a stage of crates, and Gray stretches under the spotlights before the show. The rest of the day is theirs: a fist bump on a rooftop under the stars, a campfire where Wenda sits with three friends, Gray on a skateboard ramp, a scooter ride past street lamps, a Sprunki feeding pigeons, one watering seedlings by the window, one pushing an ice cream cart, one digging at the beach in a bucket hat, one wrapped in a zigzag sweater with a mug, and one asleep in a hammock.

The characters are told apart by what grows on their heads, and the pages lean into that: a mushroom cap in a forest of toadstools, leaves over the seedlings, flames above a waterfall, Mr. Sun floating in outer space, a swirl of ice cream, a curly afro in mid-jump, horns and wings on a branch full of birds, antennae under an umbrella in the rain. Wenda stands in the snow in a scarf and in a pumpkin patch at harvest. There is a chibi Sprunki with a balloon, one in a soap bubble, one on the moon, one blowing bubbles, one swimming with fish, a tower of three stacked on each other, and a Sprunki in a striped top hat. For patient hands: a Sprunki mandala of faces, a pattern of Sprunki and sound waves, and an oval frame of faces and music notes.

How Sprunki works

Sprunki began in 2024 as a fan-made version of a music game, where each character is a sound: a beat, a bass line, a melody, a voice. You drag characters onto a row, each one starts its loop, and together they make a song. That is why the characters stand in lines on these pages, and why so many are singing, drumming or wearing headphones.

It also means that each character's look matches its sound. In the game, the ones with musical instruments or headphones are usually the beats and melodies, and the stranger shapes, horns, antennae, flames, tend to be effects. A child who plays the game can say which sound each page would make before coloring it.

One color per character

Sprunki characters are simple on purpose: a single strong color for the whole body, a white face, big black eyes. That makes them one of the easiest licensed sets to color well. Choose one bright color per character and use it for the head, hair and body together. The game's own colors are easy to remember: Wenda is white, Gray is gray, Mr. Sun is yellow with orange rays, Oren is orange, Raddy red, Durple purple and Sky light blue. Leave the face paler and the eyes black.

For the group pages, the lineup on stage and the campfire, give every character a different color, like the row of sounds in the game. The pattern page is a good test: color each repeated Sprunki the same way and the page turns into wrapping paper.

Easy pages and busier ones

Most Sprunki pages are quick: a round head, a simple body and one prop, which suits a child of four or five. Quick to color, above the grid, begins with:

Build a band on the table

Sprunki is played by lining characters up, so the pages can be too. Color five or six, cut them out, and stand them in a row on the table, folding a strip at the bottom of each so it stays up. Each one gets a sound made by a child: a clap, a hum, a tap on the table, a whistle. Point at a Sprunki and its child makes the sound; point at three and they play together. It is the game in paper form, and it lasts longer than you would expect.

Make your own Sprunki

The best part of a Sprunki is how easy one is to invent. On the back of a page, draw a round head and a simple tapered body, give it big eyes, then decide what grows on top: leaves, a cloud, a lightning bolt, a slice of pizza. Choose its color and the sound it would make, a clap, a hum, a whistle. Line up the invented Sprunki with the ones from this collection and a whole class can build a band on the wall.

Printing a row of Sprunki

Each page is a free PDF drawn at 300 dpi on A4. On A4, print at full size; on US Letter, "fit to page" shrinks the drawing by about six percent. The printing guide shows the setting with screenshots.
