36 peppa pig coloring pages to print

Every sheet downloads as a 300 dpi A4 PDF, or prints straight from the page. Nothing here needs an account, and new drawings are added every day.

These sheets are drawn for the age that watches the programme, which is three and four. One character fills most of the page, the outlines are thick, and every scene is something a small child has already seen an adult do: watering the plants, hanging the washing, posting a letter, sweeping a floor.

What is on the thirty-six sheets

  • In the garden, eight times: watering the pots by the window, picking vegetables from the bed, painting a fence with a roller, raking autumn leaves, hanging paper lanterns, hanging the washing on the line, feeding the ducks at the pond, hosing out a pair of muddy boots.
  • In the kitchen and at the table: baking in an apron with a rolling pin, a tall stack of pancakes with butter on top, a bowl of apples at a low table, pouring lemonade at a stand.
  • Days out: a picnic on a checked blanket with a thermos and a basket, a kite in a grassy field, a scooter on a path past a signpost, a market stall with baskets of vegetables, a pot on a camp stove outside a tent.
  • At the water, two sheets: sorting seashells on a beach towel, and skipping a flat stone across a lake.
  • Autumn and winter: brushing snow off a park bench in a hat and scarf, pulling a wheelbarrow of pumpkins through a muddy field, and pulling on rain boots by the door.
  • Quiet indoor ones: reading in a hammock under a tree, building a tower of books in a library, playing a record player with a toy train on the shelf, looking through a telescope at the night sky.
  • The party sheet: one candle on a birthday cake, which is the one to print first.
  • One sheet with George, the two of them under an umbrella in the rain, puddles all around.
  • The rest of the small errands: posting a letter, sweeping a shop floor, blowing soap bubbles, building a tower of blocks, a wrapped present on the table, holding a ladder up to a birdhouse where an owl is perched, walking along the top of a brick wall, and chasing a hat the wind has taken.

Pink, red and very little else

She is pink, with a darker rose for the cheeks and the inside of the ears, and her dress is red, her shoes black. That is the whole character. Everything after it is sky, grass, brick and wood, so a school tin of twelve pencils finishes any sheet in the set.

The short palette is what makes these good for a three-year-old: there is no decision to make before starting, and the mud, which turns up on several sheets, is the only brown anyone needs.

Easy sheets and busy ones

The quickest have barely more than the character in them: the hat taken by the wind, the washing on the line, the kite in the field, the pot on the camp stove, the letter going into the mailbox. One figure, big shapes, ten minutes.

The longest are the market stall and the tower of books in the library, then the leaves, the lanterns and the vegetable bed. The stall alone holds seven times as many shapes to fill as the windy sheet does, so keep it for a rainy afternoon or for the older end of the range.

Peppa Pig Coloring Pages: questions

What is on these Peppa Pig coloring pages?

Everyday scenes: baking, gardening, the beach, a picnic, a kite, a market stall, a camp stove, a birthday cake with one candle. Thirty-six sheets in all, most of them with a single figure and a background a child can name.

What age are these coloring pages for?

Three to six. The figure is large and the outlines are thick, which is what a hand that is still learning needs. The market stall, the picnic and the library sheets suit the older end of that range.

What colours do I need?

Almost none. She is pink with a darker rose on the cheeks and ears, her dress red and her shoes black. The rest is sky, grass, brick and mud, so twelve pencils cover the whole set.

Which sheet is best for a child who cannot sit still?

The emptiest sheets: the hat taken by the wind, the washing on the line, the kite, the pot on the camp stove, the letter going into the mailbox. Finished in ten minutes.

Are these official Peppa Pig coloring pages?

No. They are original drawings made for this site, not screenshots and not official artwork, and the site is not affiliated with or endorsed by the rights holder. They are free for personal, classroom and community use.

Can I print these for a birthday party?

Yes, as many copies as you need, with no permission and no attribution. The birthday cake sheet is the obvious one to put on the table. The only thing you cannot do is resell the files, which the license page sets out.
