Brawl Stars is the game a lot of children play in short bursts on a phone or tablet, three minutes a match, and most of them can name their favorite brawler before anything else about it. These Brawl Stars coloring pages draw the best known brawlers alongside a crowd of others in the same chunky, big-headed style, in and out of the arena.
The famous faces come first. Spike, the round cactus with a wide open mouth, stands alone with his spiny arms out, shares a desert ledge with Colt and his pistol, and leads a chibi lineup of brawlers from the shortest to the tallest. Crow frowns from the top of a street lamp. Nita hugs a honey pot in her bear hood. Leon rides a wave on a surfboard in a shark hoodie, and El Primo's stitched wrestling mask fills a whole page with a grin.
The others are brawlers on their days off, in costumes and places the game keeps inventing. A cowboy twirls a lasso beside a cactus, another rests a giant hammer on his shoulder, one leans on a mine cart full of rocks, a mechanic in goggles tightens a bolt on a friendly robot, and a masked brawler juggles a ring of gems. One bounces off a spring in a bunny helmet, one steers a pirate raft, one rides a mechanical scorpion, one crosses the dunes by lantern light, and one flips a tall stack of pancakes. There is a ghost over a pumpkin patch, a brawler in a mushroom hat in a glowing cave, a waving barrel robot, a brawler in a flower crown, a deep-sea diver, a skater grinding a rail, a wizard casting a spell, a lion hood roaring into the wind, a scientist with a bubbling flask, a dragon brawler guarding treasure chests, two brawlers pushing a crate, a beekeeper among the bees, a hoverboard rider over a canyon, a brawler splashing in a raincoat and one waving crab claw gloves on the shore. A top-down arena map and a border of cactus pots, goggles, helmets and boots complete the set.
Brawlers, rarities and the Starr Road
Brawl Stars comes from Supercell, the Finnish studio behind Clash of Clans, and it was released worldwide at the end of 2018. Every character is called a brawler, and new ones arrive through the year. They are sorted by rarity, from Rare up to Mythic, Legendary and Ultra Legendary, and the color of the rarity shows on the brawler's card. Players unlock them on the Starr Road, collecting credits as they play.
Spike and Crow are both Legendary brawlers, among the oldest in the game, which is why so many players know them. El Primo and Colt are among the first brawlers anyone meets, and Nita comes almost at once. A good starting question for a child is simply: who is your main? That is the one to print first.
Coloring brawlers the way the game does
The game's style is bold: thick dark outlines, flat bright colors and a little shading on one side.
- Spike is cactus green with a paler belly, pink flowers on top of his head and yellow-white spines.
- Crow is black and dark gray with a yellow beak and poison-green highlights.
- Nita's bear hood is brown with a lighter muzzle and a stitched patch.
- Leon's shark hood is blue-gray with a white belly; his usual hood is a green chameleon.
- Colt has bright red hair swept up in a pompadour.
- El Primo is a masked wrestler: pick one strong color for the mask and a second for the stitches, the way real luchador masks are made.
For the invented brawlers, choose a main color and one accent, as the game does, and keep the outlines strong. A single darker shade along one side of each shape gives the game's slightly 3D look.
Quick brawlers and packed scenes
The simplest pages keep one brawler large and the background clear: El Primo's mask, Spike on his own, Nita and her honey pot. Quick to color, above the grid, begins with:
- El Primo portrait
- Spike the cactus
- Nita hugging a honey pot
The detailed ones have whole settings, the dragon's cave full of chests, the flower field, the arena seen from above. Lots of detail begins with:
- Dragon brawler with treasure chests
- Brawler in a flower crown
- Brawl Stars arena
Design your own brawler
Every brawler in the game is a simple idea pushed as far as it goes: a cactus that fights, a crow with daggers, a wrestler. Use the pages as a model and ask a child to invent one. Give it a name, a main color, a weapon or a power, a rarity and a Super, the special attack every brawler charges up in a match. Draw it on the empty center of the border page, then compare it with the others. Two children can play their invented brawlers against each other on paper, taking turns across the arena map.
Printing a squad of brawlers
Every page is a free PDF drawn on A4 at 300 dpi. A4 prints at full size, and on US Letter "fit to page" shrinks the drawing about six percent so that no hat or claw is cut off. The printing guide shows where that setting lives. Add to pack puts a full squad into one file. Other game worlds are in the Fortnite coloring pages, the Roblox coloring pages and the Minecraft coloring pages, and more creatures to collect in the Pokemon coloring pages.
